BOWtique

So, I've really gotten into this whole thing called "sewing" lately! I LOVE my sewing machine! I never thought I would say that...but I did! Jeremy bought it for me last year on my birthday, and I believe it is my favorite gift to date! I've started making pillowcase dresses for Natalee...back in October. We (my mom and I) made a couple for Halloween...and then we made 12 different ones for December! That is when I really learned to do them!! Since then, I've done one for St Patty's Day, and made matching pants...a capri set...and an Easter dress...all by MYSELF!! I kind of make them up as I go, but I am really starting to get the hang of it! I can't wait to further my "business" stuff with the addition of clothing! I'm working on my 6th order as I type...well, maybe not AS I type, but you get the point! I'm hoping to pursue the business stuff after I quit working! On another similiar note, I got photo shop for Christmas, and I am hoping to get a "fancy" camera by the end of the summer to start playing around with some photography! I thought..."I've always loved taking pictures, why not?" I love all of these fun and creative things that are going on! Crafting and creating is definitely a hobby I enjoy!

Speaking of creating...God made you!! WOW! To know that He created each one of us for His glory and in His image...that He knows the hairs on our head and each of us by name, now that is a creation worth reflecting on!! I love that I have a God who took the time to "create" me! Make sure that you are making the most out of God's creation. You were bought with a price...you are not your own (1 Cor 6:20)!! Live each day for the Glory of God...and remember that He loves you!

Psalm 139
1 You have searched me, LORD,
   and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
   you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
   you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
   you, LORD, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
   and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
   too lofty for me to attain.
 7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
   Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
   if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
   if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
   your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
   and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
   the night will shine like the day,
   for darkness is as light to you.
 13 For you created my inmost being;
   you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
   your works are wonderful,
   I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
   when I was made in the secret place,
   when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
   all the days ordained for me were written in your book
   before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
   How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
   they would outnumber the grains of sand—
   when I awake, I am still with you.
 19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
   Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
20 They speak of you with evil intent;
   your adversaries misuse your name.
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, LORD,
   and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
   I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
   test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
   and lead me in the way everlasting.

So, it has officially been 5 years since Jeremy asked for my hand in marriage! March 27, 2006 will be a day that I will never forget!! It is definitely a day that has made it into the top 5 list! That's pretty good odds for 27 years of life. I can't imagine my life without Jeremy. He is such a wonderful man. I am so thankful for his love and support, I honestly don't know what I would do without him in my life. He brings so much love to the Glover table. You know those gushy mushy love feelings?...I still have them! He makes my heart smile...and I am so glad that I answered "yes" (while also screaming) to that man of my dreams. My (almost) favorite part of the whole story...the next day. He sent flowers up to my work....a BeAuTiFuL bouqet of wild flowers...my favorite....and the card said, "thank you for saying yes." This is a tradition that he has carried on every year (for the most part). I always look forward to that. He remembers that day, and that is special to me!

"I thank my God everytime I remember you." Philippians 1:31
